i am really confused since I have lost 5 nerves.
Is there some kind of explanation ??? Does the type of crime affect the nerve bar ?
I was doing theft crimes :S

Yeah, you have probably been jailed stealing chocolate or something like that. Stay out jail if you want to increase your nerve.
Nerve bar is a reflection of your total crime experience; successful crimes will increase your CE; failing crimes will reduce it.
So my guess is that you failed some thefts, lost CE and dropped below your original nerve bar threshold. Just do more crimes and get the CE back, and you'll be fine.
Try using the nerve bar guide. It will give you advice on what crimes to do at what nerve bar level.
