Reddit is a great platform to discuss torn to other people outside the game. That sub in particular is worthless tho.

i like how all the "register here" links are someone's referral link. like the whole subreddit was a ploy to get referrals, considering an off-website forum makes absolutely no sense considering, you know, where we are right now.

Great idea to have a reddit. I fear we have many 4 chan types however that might disagree..
it's been up for awhile, and started when Torn was trying to venture into a more social outreach platform (fb torn, wiki revamp, yt) but they all lost gas fast, and they lost bogie.
Torn also has a few of unofficial sites that cater to myanmarians and mexicans, but they're creepy.
Reddit is a great platform to discuss torn to other people outside the game. That sub in particular is worthless tho.
im down with reddit, but like you said, that sub is lame..
the thing with reddit tho, a sub can help a game or it can destroy it because of the different opinions. i liked the idea of the sub there, and figured it would gain some grip. Torn limit's some free speech, but reddit offers users something more "off the record" outside the game.
torn will stick it's nose into it and try to maintain some control in a sub. yet, that means a Staff member would have to babysit it. throws it into a catch-22 then, because if they can't maintain their FB page, they sure in the hell are not going to go to reddit.
