Cheaters getting rekt by Ched

That was the whole point of the comp for the time it ran. an older player feeding a younger player to speed advance them through the game. I'm pretty sure people reset for it as well, will find the thread hopefully.

What i dont get is why multi abuser 1988648 is not in fed i thought cheaters got punished money a year ago has a roi. Looks like multis win again. Actually looking futher on this list people who fed themselves with multiple multis for almost 3 years have not been fedded, dam i wish id use multis since the roi would be worth billions.

But you're ignoring the fact that the claims can be argued against, and as the screenshots in OP proves, Ched listens. I'm sure if you explain to him the scenario and prove that you're innocent, the money will be refunded; Which Ched has already done a few times now I believe.

If someone decides to quit and sends you money, that's fine. The records will show the last action that account did was to send money, and after that the account has literally 0 activity. That's proveable. But if your friend quits the game and solely logs on, either by your request or not, just to give you items they've accured, that is multi-ing. The entirety of that account is played simply to further your account. Literally the only difference is someone else is logging in to it to do the transaction rather than yourself. The end game is the same.

Okay here's my issue with this:

All of these people were caught red handed but aren't getting banned.

They have literally *only* benefited from this entire ordeal. And they've benefited immensely. While many innocent players have gotten screwed.

Its one thing to have a multi gift someone 1B and celebrate when those crocodile tears come pouring out. Cheated money is taken away. Is it better than nothing? Sure. But what about the BILLIONS in profit these cheaters have been able to make off of that money over the course of 2 years?

At the VERY LEAST that 1B could easily be doubled up over 2 years. And what about the ROI of that additional billion? It's compounding insanity.

i may not personally be affected, but I gotta say the economy I play in most definitely is.

Yes it does and should be more.

But there are a LOT of cheaters playing this game.

If ched banned them all for months do you have any idea what this game would be like?

A LOT less players logging on daily, because there really are that many cheaters in this game.

This game is crammed full of cheating nerds.

I hope ched has removed all their cheated play money. That has to be done. Or the real players of this game like you and me wont be happy .....

I think Ched has it covered.

My first reaction was the same as yours. Then I went over to the bugs and issues folder and saw that Ched handled every bug report personally and gave people his reasoning, and reverted the cash removal whenever there was any reasonable doubt.

So while the script might not be best equipped for judgment calls, the script makes the initial call, and then Ched or a staff member will make any judgment call as needed.

The case you're referring to raises the question of a whether there is a difference in the rules context between a literal multi that the user controls, vs. a account that someone else controls that takes essentially the same actions as a literal multi would take. Ched made his human judgment call on that after the script flagged it and took initial action, and the user reported. You can disagree with Ched's judgment call, but that doesn't mean there is a problem with the application of the script. I think it makes complete sense for the script to cast a wider net and then to use human judgment as the failsafe, provided that the human judgment is fairly applied and gives users the benefit of the doubt.

Good thread. Once I saw the first two GD threads pop up, and then Ched's two bulletin board posts, I knew there would be some funnies out of the bugs/issues threads. Ched historically has given some pretty funny responses to those that are in the wrong and still try to post their stories in bugs and issues. I haven't been able to keep up much on the forums this weekend, and haven't been through any of the bugs/issues threads yet, but this thread might just remove the want to go through them at all.
