Welcome my friend :P If you don't comprehend the change crimes will do the money sink just plain shake things up then you out of touch. Chaining and wars are a simple thing they will all do that easy, maybe you waited so long for crimes cause its much bigger than these plebs fighting over nothing. I think an honorbar would be more suitable, a rare item or unique property can usually be traded to any smuck.
If it was untradeable maybe item or property would be fitting.
An honorbar is displayed and since it would only be the first 100 who have it, would be a good proof that they were indeed 1/100.
They should also get a memorial spot somewhere. This game doesn't end, we have a RIP area, maybe have a spot for those who have excelled at playing too. Some will quit, some will die off but a wall of the first 100s, later on add other achievement lists would be cool imo.
give them a supertorn cape (i.e. superman) that they can wear over their armor

Extremely unfair if he gets any special items or extra awards, what about the other guys who worked hard towards level 100? They dont get sh*t and why should this guy..
Not this guy, it would be all of the first 100s who would receive the reward for being the first to reach the top level.
I'm against giving them a unique honour bar because that means they get a merit that is otherwise unobtainable.
However, I think a new unique collectible would be pretty cool. Maybe a superhero cape as suggested above? Or a 100 dollar bill? Or maybe something sarcastic calling them n00bs for powerleveling.
Im sure u guys could come up with a fun idea for it.

Give anything to to first 100 players that reached the lvl 100 would be very unfair for any player that could get there without much effort, but they didn't do it because there was not benefit except a few awards and life

An untradeable item they could put in their display case seems like a nice idea. If they can just sell it, that defeats the purpose of recognizing those players. Or give them nothing. You already get three things for reaching 100.
By the end of 2018, there will be at least 100 more level 100s. It really wont be a special achievement any more. Being able to attack and leave during chains makes this inevitable.
More shitty level 100s breeds more shitty level 100s. Ive already levelled 4-5 times since chains were launched and I dont even leave every attack
