Well here we are again with our fifth installment of New Player Competitions!




The New Player Faction Nomination Competition!




This time we're switching it up a little. Participants must be nominated by their faction leaders as the best new faction member in Torn.



Faction leaders will post on this thread their nominations:
- Why their player is the best n00b faction member
- Why they think they should win
- Their choice of event area for their player to compete in



The two events will be either Respect Gained or Battle Stat Rank Increase.




Eligibility-


  • Player must be under 200 days old

  • Player must have been in faction for at least 10 days prior to competition

  • Faction leader must have been in faction for minimum of 30 days

  • If faction leader does not meet requirements, another member of the faction who has been there for longer than 30 says may nominate in their place, but will have to demonstrate that they have been mentoring the player they are nominating.

  • UP TO 3 NOMINEES PER FACTION!

From Tuesday 2/20/18 00:00 TCT - Tuesday 2/27/18 00:00 TCT

Each faction leader will choose one of two areas for their player to compete in- Respect Gained or Battle Stat Rank Increase

When the event begins, each participant will post their starting data- their current data for respect gained or their current battle stat rank.



BATTLE STAT RANKS ARE DIVIDED INTO TWO GROUPS- PLAYERS WITH STARTING RANK BELOW/ABOVE 60K. PRIZES GIVEN IN EQUAL AMOUNTS SEPARATELY TO BOTH GROUPS.

ONLY post Battle Stat RANK, not your actual STATS.




Prizes

(here's where it gets interesting)



This time we'll be doing a name-your-own prize system so that winners can receive that they think they need most to succeed in Torn at the moment.



There will be separate ranked winners/prizes for each competition area


  • The winning players can decide if they want the whole budget in cash or items, and if they want to split the winnings with their faction


  • The faction leader of the winning player can decide if they want cash or items and allocate them at will.

  • 1st prize- Budget of $150,000,000
    ($100,000,000 to player, $50,000,000 to faction leader)

  • 2nd prize- Budget of $100,000,000
    ($70,000,000 to player, $30,000,000 to faction leader)

  • 3rd prize- Budget of $50,000,000
    ($35,000,000 to player, $15,000,000 to faction leader)

  • 4th and 5th place will each win 40 Xanax
    (30 to player, 10 to faction leader)

  • 6th and 7th place will each win 20 Xanax (15 to player, 5 to leader)

just a suggestion,I think crimes done or increasing nnb should be another area to compete in after battle stats rank. That's just my suggestion..But then it's only 7 days comp but one could do lots of crimes within 7 days.

I considered that but I couldnt figure out a way to make it an even playing field because of the varied ages, NNB differs too much to try and count crimes committed fairly. And NNB wouldnt increase in just a week :/ But if you can think of a way to make an even competition for crimes, Ill definitely add it!

Division: Battle stats.

Reason for nomination: Andriolf is a beast. He joined our faction in his 3rd day in torn and has stayed an active member. Most people that join in the first few days get caught up in inactivity purges in the next couple weeks. He has recruited for us, and we have repeatedly gained members that he has recommended. He stays on top of his crimes, and is building a strong nerve bar for OC's. In his first 3 months still, and already he is about to make the jump from kidnappings to bomb threats. Currently, as I type this, he is on the wall in a territory war for us. Andriolf gets it done.
