I saw that there is a thread for Xbox One, so I wanna start one for Ps4 too.
Any Ps4 gamers here? What are your favourite games, what's your favourite Ps4 exclusive game, what's your most anticipated game of this year?
so then I'll start: I think one of my most favourite Ps4 exclusive games is Shadow of the Colossus! [But it's hard to tell as there are so many like NieR:Automata, The last guardian, Heavy Rain, all Persona parts!!] But really this game is just soo beautiful and the remake on the Ps4 is just incredible, the graphics are stunning!
My most anticipated game of this year is Red Dead Redemption 2 I guess [again many other games to mention like Ni No Kuni, The last of us 2 etc.]
Now the hardest question: What're your most favourite games? -geez there are so so so many good games but I think my most favourite is still the Witcher3! I love this games so much and I was addicted to it like crazy! and after all this years (it's already 3 years old) I still compare new games to that standard.
Anyway, other games I really like and are on my favourite list: the AC games (Black Flag is my fav of them :P), Overwatch, Battlefield, Dragon Age, The witcher 2, Skyrim (currently playing and addicted xD), Diablo3, Bioshock:Infinite, 999, Odin Sphere, Final Fantasy and those I already mentioned above :)
so let's start a conversation. tell me what do you think of my list, do you agree, which games would you recommend playing and so on :) I'd like to hear your opinions!
I like your list. I haven't played Shadow of the Colossus (yet). It's on a long list of games I will get around to. RDR2 should be at least near top of everybody's anticipated games. For me there is also The Last Of Us part 2 (probably going to be waiting for some time for this one), Darksiders 3 and God of War.
The Witcher 3 is one of the best games I have ever played. I'm probably half way through my second playthrough, which I keep going back to a couple of hours at a time. I'm currently playing through Shadow of War at the minute trying to get the platinum trophy. It's tough going though.
Skyrim, Dragon Age, Bioshock infinite are also all fantastic games, as are most of the final fantasy series. I'm still waiting for the remaster of Final Fantasy VIII, and the remake of VII (also probably going to be waiting for a while for this one). And who can forget Fallout 4? I still love playing that game even though I finished it years ago.
Oh yes of course God of War is also one of the big Games coming out this year! I haven't played God of War, Darksiders and the last of us yet though. I have such a long list of games I wanna try, but geez there are so many good games and so little time!
I wanted to start my second playthrough of the Witcher 3 too but as I said so many games on my list :D I still love it so much, this games has so many good missions I still remember them after years and that's how a good game should be!
well I think you won't have to wait too long for FF Vll, they already mentioned a remake I think ^^ I wanna play FF lX as well and FF XV again after the big DLC comes out!
yes I have heard so much about Fallout and haven't played it yet, I'm ashamed xD. though I don't know if I should start with another part, what would you suggest?
I'm expecting some news on the FFVII remake at this year's E3. It was announced about 5 years ago, but now that Square are finally about done with FFXV there should be some movement.
I take it from your list that you are into RPGs. I'd definitely suggest making a start on Fallout 4. By now you'll be able to get a decent deal on the game with DLC. I don't buy a lot of DLC, but I did for The Witcher and Fallout. Both absolutely worth it.
Also, I caved and bought Shadow of the Colossus. What a game. I can see where Zelda: Breath of the Wild got some inspiration from after playing it.
I hope so too. There was this rumour about Square bringing out every part of FF to the Ps4 last year. I was so hyped about that and sad tjat it was only a rumor, but maybe one day they'll do it for real.
Yeah I am, but recently I started playing Multiplayers as well, Overwatch was my first one, started that last year and still playing from time to time. there are some really good MPGs, but still it's not something to replace RPGs. I can't understand those ppl who are only playing CoD tbh, I'd get so bored after a week :D
so I guess I really have to try Fallout 4 then ;) but first I have to get through Skyrim, geez that game is kinda frustrating hahaha so much to do and explore!
ohh yes I was so suprised about that game, never thought I'd get so hooked. it's absolutely beautiful and they did an amazing job with the graphics if you compare it to the game game from Ps2. Happy to see other people appreciating that game as much as I do :)

Anyone playing Monster Hunter World? Playing it with my partner for the last month and it's super addictive. Granted, I like any world where I have to hoard items and shoot things... basically.
Good hoarding games that I've played so far on PS4 - (I'm defining hoarding as anything where I just obsessively collect shiny objects)
- Fallout 4 (recently replayed this time with all the addons)
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Terraria (so pretty!)
- 7 Days to Die (so, so not pretty but shockingly fun for something that looks like it came from the early 2000s)
- Don't Starve (kind of like hoard for a while and then totally die)
- Boarderlands (actually, the hoarding part of this game ended up overwhelming me. I can't pay that much attention to weapon management)
Strangely, I hated Minecraft and can't play the sims for too long without falling asleep. Also, we shall not speak of No Man's Sky. What a graphic and terrible abuse of the desire to collect.

actually I tried Monster Hunter World, but I left it on the side for Shadow of the Colossus and only played like 2h or smth. I will definitely try it again, I heard so many good things about that game. It's a lot about farming right?!
hahaha I like your list! well I'm an absolutely hoarder even in Skyrim and the Witcher, but I always get to heavy, that sucks xD but at least you can put the things in your chest.
I didn't play Terraria and Don't Starve but I know the games. I love it that you can play Don't Starve together now. I in general love Indie games a lot, but most of the time they don't get the attention they'd deserve!
no one's talking about No Man's Sky lol I thought the idea of the game was great though, but the end product turned out pretty bad... and Borderlands! that game is amazing ;)

I'm looking forward to 'Days Gone', 'The Last of Us Part II' (though this might drop in 2019), 'Spider-Man' and 'Vampyr'
I enjoyed the Mass Effect and Uncharted series, still got Andromeda to play. Thought 'Heavy Rain' was fantastic, reckon it would be a great little HBO mini series too!
I'm also a fan of RPG games, though I haven't played Fallout 4 yet (loved Fallout 3 on PS3).
At the moment, as real life is a bit time constricting, I've been playing 'Fortnite' and 'Rocket League', due to them being easy to pick up and play, for when I've a spare few minutes. Saying that, the online community on 'Rocket League' is ridiculously toxic, IMO.

There are sooo many good games out there, it's hard to pinpoint the best ones. I usually prefer RPGs over everything else but I'm generally very open for most other genres as well.
I'd like to list some of my favourite games/franchises. Due to the huge amount of games I've played since the Super NES days, there may some be missing, if I remember them I will update this list. :)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (best one in the Witcher series and one of the best games ever created)
The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask (best TLoZ entry ever, haven't played BotW though due to a lacking Switch)
Bloodborne (huuuuge fan of the Dark Souls series but I especially love the gothic horror theme)
Dark Souls series (no words needed)
Bioshock series (just awesome!)
Battlefield 1 (best war shooter of all times)
Overwatch (awesome team based shooter)
Hitman series (so much fun, especially Blood Money)
Most Bioware games (Star Wars, Dragon Age, Mass Effect; not all of those entries were great though)
The Elder Scrolls (all of them)
Fallout (all of them!)
Final Fantasy (especially VI, IX, X and XV)
Some strategy games like Commandand Conquer and Battle for Middle Earth, Civilization or even Crusader Kings as well.
There are lots of great indie games as well such as Darkest Dungeon, Spelunky, Valiant Hearts and many many more.
I'm sure I must have missed a lot of awesome games but that's enough for now. Plus writing on mobile is a tad tedious :P

ohh 'Vampyr' I heared about that, really looking forward to that too, it seems pretty interesting playing RPG as a Vampire!
Heavy Rain was pretty much like playing a movie, I loved it. interesting thought, it would sure turn out as a great success for HBO if they do it right. I'm actually pretty suspicious about the witcher netflix series.
Hahaha well I can't say anything about the online community of Rocket League, but I'm new to online multiplayer games and I've noticed there are haters everywhere and mostly in Overwatch.
The concept sounds interesting. Multiple endings depending on whether you kill people (risks blowing your cover as a Doctor) or not (makes it harder to level up etc.).
I'm a bit of a fan boy of Quantic Dream (who made Heavy Rain). I loved 'Beyond: Two Souls' back on PS3 and I'm looking forward to their new game 'Detroit: Become Human', which comes out soon. Seems 'Ai' meets 'I, Robot'. There's no "Game Over", the story just adjusts depending on your decisions.
Didn't realise there was a Witcher series in the pipeline. Is that live action or animation, do you know?

I got Bloodborne from a Playstation Plus monthly game, and I beat the first monster (that wolf thing) with my fists, Took over 20 tries and rage was included. Did it because I didnt know I could go to hunters dream to get weapons lol and I have the Witcher 3, its pretty fun but havent gotten around to playing it more often. I love RPGs the most.

I saw the trailor to 'Detroit: Become Human' looks really interesting. I'm pretty sure I'll give it a try, though atm I'm absolutely captured by Ni No Kuni2!! that game's amazing. Big fan of Japanese games here!! :D next gonna play Far Cry5
Yes, Netflix gonna make a live action series to The Witcher, but they gonna stick more to the books than the game. I hope they gonna make it well! (we all know they can make really good series, but also some trash lol)
lol wtf with your fists?! as Bloodborne and the whole Dark Souls series are one of the most difficult games I've ever seen I'm amazed right now xD I never played those games, because I don't have the patience :D
The Witcher 3 is for sure one of the best games, maybe even the best RPG! I still love that game very much and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did :)

Far Cry 5 looks great. Embarrassingly I think my last Far Cry game was number two, back on PS3 - the shame!!
