As I explained to you already. You're their sub. Now you say you're not and haven't been for a year, but you wear their logo, name, tag, slogan, and you didn't get those territories on your own either.
If you're a sub when it's convenient, you're a sub when it's not. If you don't want to deal with the downsides of being a sub, go for a different faction.
Want it or not, you're rewarded and punished by other people's decisions. The person you are is influenced by your parents actions, right or wrong. And many of the things you do, right or wrong have a strong influence with that as well.
Anyway, if you don't want to be bundled together, don't put yourself in that positon

Also, I don't think Relentless should have given the territories back. They were ditched, Relentless picked them up, they're Relentless's territories now.
