This game is really, sometimes complicated, but as someone that's not so good at the game and I see loads and loads of other people that literally in like a different dimension, like they have trillions and trillions of dollars... how? And levelling up so fast... how? And having the best battle stats in the world... how? And also having just the better stats in general. Like, people be level 10 with a PI... how? Sorry, but it just don't make sense to me and probably other people like me. This place is Cray cray, good game though.

Reading is fundamental.

Oh, and also spending waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on here doing all the little things hourly/daily will help you get gud.

Game isn't hard, building stats is literally just being online to click a few buttons.

The hard part is the dedication to not letting natural energy and nerve bars go to waste, and being dedicated to being super efficient with your energy use/refills/boosters/etc. and of course, gaining wealth to spend on such things.

but the fundamentals to getting good, are reading up on the game, and staying on top of updates, and putting the time and effort into it.

In the end, it's up to the individual whether that time and effort is worth it to be that good at something like this...

After about a year's hard grind at the greatest level of efficiency you can muster you'll have learned the secret to success in Torn.

And, as said above, read. Read all the guides. Memorise them. Become able to list training stratagies off by heart.

Personally I would recommend not sleeping and playing 24/7. This may require a drug addiction. But in all seriousness, get a donator pack, get to level 15 and travel. Also even the very basic boosters can make alot of difference.

Knowledge and experience. Learn everything you can; the more you know, the more you are able to do. I used to comb through the wiki just so I could understand why some things were the way they were. Read through all the company specials. Read through crime and stat training guides. Read through the entirety of the Tutorials & Guides forums. Ask successful people how they do things and why.

Knowledge is everything.

Oh, and calculate. It's a long term game, so even small differences in effectiveness make a large impact in the long run. Adjust accordingly.

Eat your Xanax.  Learn to happy boost and train as much energy as possible with it boosted.  Join a faction with solid gym gains and experienced people to help you with strategies.  Play the hell out of this game.

And Hopslam is right.  So many great guides are out there that will help you with any possible aspects of this game you can imagine.  Fill your brain with information and great things will follow.

Don't be so worked up about how better other players look compared to you. Spend some time in the guides forums for some tips on improving gameplay and most of all, enjoy yourself. That's the whole point.

Not mostly, that's just a start, I've practically doubled my NW is the last month and a half, has nothing to do with DPs.

The difference is usually reading a crapload of guides and then following them. There are guides for everything from the best way to train, the many ways to make money, the quickest ways to level up. The only thing holding you back if your willingness to do them. Check the Tutorials & Guides section of the forums and you'll find a ton of help.

You don't have to be super active to improve your stats/net worth/bow hunting skills/etc. You just have to be more active than you have been over your first three years here. You're averaging fewer than 1.4 attacks/day, fewer than 1.5 crimes/day, 21 consumables consumed (candy, alcohol, energy drinks) per YEAR, just over 4 trips taken per YEAR, almost zero drugs, and fewer than 1 log-in per day.

You're not exactly playing the game. Just start doing things, and you will improve.

The players with PIs after playing the game for 10 days are buying Donator packs with real money. If you want to play the game ligitimily just keep at it and get a good job.
