What is the policy on running bots to automate tasks? 

Im not using one, nor do i have the desire to, but i am relatively sure im a victim of someone running one. 

I was waiting out my hospital timer so i can go do stuff, as soon as my timer hit zero and the page refreshed, i was in the hospital, AGAIN, for another half hour. 

This isnt the first time this has happened, and id really like to know whats the punishment for this.

The use of scripts, extensions, applications or any other kind of software is allowed only if it uses data from our API or a page you have loaded manually and are currently viewing. They cannot make additional non-API requests to Torn, scrape pages that you're not currently viewing, or attempt to bypass the captcha. If the software you're using makes non-API requests that are not manually triggered by you, it is not allowed and can be tracked."

That said, it only takes a couple of seconds to beat someone if you are watching their hospital time countdown. During the elimination competition, this happened to lots of people all the time. if you think someone is stalking you for a re-hosp, then you need to med out at some random time before that last minute

anyone can go to your profile and see the countdown in seconds until you'll be out of the hosp

so if you med out at random times with a min or two remaining on hosp time, you should be able to throw them off and do what you need to do real quick

This is actually fairly normal behavior. The exact time for you to get out of hosp is on your profile for anyone to see. I wouldn't call it an indicator of script abuse.

You just started playing yesterday. Other players can't attack you yet.

How does that work?

Other new players can, dont think any older player would waste e mugging a noob repeatedly, especially given they would know about mug protection.

This doesn't sound like script abuse, it sounds like someone watching your page as it counts down until they exact time you'll be out of the hospital, and then attacking.
