Does seem a bit silly. If there's no way to easily check the exact respect gain at x hits just throw on a penalty that is equivalent to the max respect you could've gained from those extra 1-2 hits.

There is a way. It's quite simple and the solution has been offered several times. You hover over the respect at 5k.

 

This is just one person having arbitrary rules over what "counts" and what doesn't.

 Record should count imo. Regardless still gives us something to beat :) 

I'm not sure what you use to play but I'm on a 4k monitor and I can't get the 5k hit to show when I hover the mouse. It's all so small increments, even on a 5k chain, that any mouse change can jump a few slots.

There was a simple script Mafia created and shown on the old thread that I could use, that would make life easier for sure.

However, from the little discussion on the old topic there was as many people supporting as opposing the idea and I always said that I'm really just documenting this. If there's enough people saying that it should count I would start documenting that way instead but last time there was 3 ppl for counting it, 3 against and 1 neutral.

 

Good job on the chain though! Out of curiosity, who did #5,001 ? :P

First time since the initial changes to the respect gains that someone breaks the best hit record [:hushed:] I thought those would remain unbreakable in this system.

This record is stil not unbeatable.. 25K wall hits and this record will be crushed.

Was just about to post with regards to a few records DoA broke while chaining 2.5k chains this past weekend and came across an older war report which also broke some records with regards to top hitters and respect earned in a 2.5k chain.

HUGE shout out to our awesome partners .. we did 84.15% wall hits because our walls were never empty ..

You're only as good as your partners and these guys were just amazing.
