Welcome! Baldyr's guide is bawse, check it out. If you do a little research through the guides on the forum, you'll do well and get way more out of this game. Just remember it's a long term game.
Welcome to torn! My biggest tip for you is to read the tutorial section of the forums, there are TONS of great topics explaining things really well, If you still got questions, send me a message and i'll try to explain it to you.

Train a lot, get to lvl 15 asap and good luck, welcome to the family
make sure to do crimes and lvl your nnb, find a good faction to join and that can make a huge boost to your torn experience. nnd =natrual nerve bar.

Welcome to Torn and the Forums. I have attached a few items to help you get by. Don't drop the soap in the city jail and use the salt shaker for all the salty muther ****ers in the forums.
You sent a Salt Shaker to Apoped.
You sent some Soap on a Rope to Apoped.

Don't spend too much energy on attacking. Stats are key - even if it's slower leveling.
But also try get to level 15 asap.

Id suggest getting the passives in the starter jobs first and you can join a player owned company afterwards if you want, though you don’t have to
Also, until you get enough for Xanax and all that, LSD and an ecstasy works just fine for stat gains (cheaper too :D)
