Memory leak - Chrome and Chromium based browsers

I'm experiencing a huge memory leak. It's targeting mainly my CPU and GPU. I am having memory leaks every few seconds (2~4 seconds). More than 10 torn tabs (or maybe fewer than that) is more than enough enough to use 8 cpu clocks, 100% cpu and push the CPU temperature to 91ºC-196ºF. In just a couple minutes.

It's not even close to the biggest memory leak I had on Torn recently, but I don't have any data about the other one. My computer freezed for some good minutes during the biggest ones. Tested on both Opera (chromium based) and Google Chrome. As "Guanying" stated almost 4 years ago (first linked thread bellow), extensions aren't making any difference, it's javascript related. Everything runs fine if I block javascript on Torn. 

It's also affecting my GPU usage heavily, but it doesn't have a huge effect on GPU temperature.

RAM core clock, memory clock and usage are also being affected.

I've closed Chrome, waited some minutes, and did another test.

Torn. Screenshots took 10 minutes after opening 10 torn tabs (except for the event one, it was taken only 1 minute after opening Chrome). Idle. After opening 10 tabs, I've asked Kapten_Kliptoris to send me $1. She them sent me 7x $1, starting 8:57:11 PM and ending at 8:57:38 PM. Leak got progressively worse, constantly reaching the 80ºC-176ºC CPU temperature mark after some time. Test made with 20 elimination tabs open. Idle, Chrome window wasn't active. The "min" and "max" values have been reset for the next tests. It quickly peaked at 94ºC (201ºF) during this one, reaching 90ºC every few seconds. https://imgur.com/a/KZke7bv

I then tried to open more elimination tabs. Windows froze when I tried to open the 23th tab. Chrome started to consume 100% RAM. CPU and GPU use dropped. Windows started to lag and Chrome crashed after a while. https://imgur.com/a/IcvrVwE

No. First time I experienced this bug was around 30 days ago (during my first week playing Torn). I was attacking one user, but I've lost the fight. Getting hospitalized caused 100% RAM use and would freeze my computer (I also experienced this same issue (getting hospitalized = lag) recently 'cause of the elimination event). I think it's caused by a lot of javascript requests at the same time. Elimination page is always making requests every few seconds. If your status suddenly changes to "hospitalized" (and your life to 1), won't your browser receive a lot of javascript requests suddenly (this number also being multiplied by the number of game tabs you have open)? There was also a 0~2 second delay between event and 100% RAM usage everytime I experienced it. I couldn't test it with the event of being jailed.

This graph and high CPU usage is experienced in every page, if javascript is running. The more requests, the worse it gets. I guess elimination and hospital pages are only heavier than the other ones. 

i dont know the technicality .. but, YES. I experience a heavy CPU usage .. and system holds still for a few seconds. I use faction page, crime and gym mostly.

thought, i should also confirm about this. (Googled the trouble.. and it indicated a memory leak which OP has done testing  in a very detailed manner.

give more info about pc configuration you have, please

GPU nvidia GTX 980TI 6GB

CPU i7 5930K overclocked 4.8GHZ

am seeing the same as above increased temperature and higher than normal usage 

as I understood you got this lags on attack page? how many tabs are opened and are they attack as well?

I actually also get large spikes on Chrome. Not sure when or what I'm doing but this is defiantly affecting more than just OP.

Safari on a mac laptop running OSX, reports Torn is "using a significant amount of battery" when a single tab is open. No other website I use does this

idk if my issues is related but, 

after out of the blue my MBP experiences lag when I ONLY have like 5 Tabs open on Safari

it never happens when I do something else. oh and having BRACKETS and ATOM open alongside, Torn becomes unplayable
