As i was having my Lavish beans on toast this evening i noticed that something wasnt quite right.
It wasnt that it didnt taste good, it was more a feeling that something was missing. Maybe it wasnt
the same taste explosion on my tongue, maybe it lacked the spice which i was so used to. So i just
chewed the exquisite food and swallowed it half heartedly. Whilst i was slowly chewing and gazing
into nothingness, it suddenly made crash boom bang in my head.

In this unique moment in time everything i ever lived for came together like a beautiful detonation of
my synapses. Even when life itself was formed, not even that instance could have been more astonishing
then the clear thought within me. And in that undescribable moment i knew exactly what was missing that
made my beans on toast so f**king miserable.

No Dirty Bomb today !!!

Somehow life without a Dirty Bomb aint worth living, no adventure, no mystery, no Love. First they get you
hooked on a feeling and then they take the crack away from us. Its so depressing i think i will never have
Beans on Toast again.

GD discussion. Did you enjoy your food, or did you feel like me ?

so you're used to having plenty of salt on your beans and toast? No DB = lack of saltiness in the forums :(

There's a whole "Food and Cooking" forums subsection crying by itself over there, you know. Here you had the opportune moment to slightly revive it, but no, into General Discussions it must go to farm that karma! *sigh*

Honestly, though, us new players were getting pretty tired from all the older folks throwing DBs at each other and getting us radiation sickness over here. Glad to have a break from that for a while.

Beans on toast is nice, but just a snack really. You're missing the bacon, sausages (square, of course), black pudding, mushrooms, tomato and tattie scones.

I enjoyed my chicken wings(hickory barbeque sauce and texas pete mixed) side of seasoned french fries and carrots on the side. Also buttermilk ranch for the wings to dip in. Ketchup for the fries. Pretty lovely meal that took me 45mins to make for my family of 3.

No dirty bomb is a lovely day!

The real question (coming from a non-American person here), is why in the world would anyone put gravy on biscuits

Soggy "biscuit"??? big ew no ty

Speaking of gravy on odd things - gravy on waffles? Honestly some(most) of the dietary choices Americans make are surely made under the influence of crack cocaine.

It seems obvious to me that the ingredient you are missing and desirous of is Bacon....Everything is better with bacon, :-)

I have looked over forums many times, I guess I kept over looking this. I think I found my new home in fourms XD
