So rackets seems a bit broken at the minute, all the largest factions just sucking them up using proxies. I think it's safe to say the majority is not happy with it.

So my suggestion was to not only make it harder for this to happen but also to make the rackets a bit more interactive and fun.

Suggestion:

Make rackets interactive, in that when owning a racket it opens (or activates an otherwise null tab) in the faction page. Similar to organised crimes the faction would have to set members to work in the racket, nnb/CE affecting how productive members are at working in the racket. Again, similar to OCs members would need to have beenr recently active.

Depending on how productive your members are at working in the faction you get so much of the maxinum payout per day from the racket. This makes them less of just a freebie for owning the territory, gets faction members involved and will also stop proxy factions of just 2 or 3 members (or many very low level members) reaping the full rewards of the racket simply because they are backed by the main faction helping thwm to hold the territory)

Working hard in the racket and having high productivity would then help to level up the racket.

I also maybe thought rather than just having people with permissions setting your faction members at work you could maybe have it so that only the faction members could set themselves to work in the racket. This would make members more interactive with their faction and make it more fun for them rather than just receiving notifications saying someone had done it for them. This would again work against proxies and make it more fun.

Tell me what you all think, if you like it rate it! Let's be constructive and try to make this the best we can.

I agree.
This could be something like faction missions which cost the member energy, nerve and or happiness. in return the faction gains notoriety and rises in strength and opens up faction rewards while the contributing member get a set reward determined by the faction leadership. this could be cash, drugs, permissions, bonuses or points to obtain ranks within the faction that grants the before mentioned.

this way active members gain more benefit from the faction than bandwagoneers.

Fantastic idea, that would add a whole new element to this game, as it is a criminal activity would you get crime XP like you do for OC's or do you think there could be some kind of Racket job stats that get ranked up the same as you "real world" job.
Violence (manual)
Leadership (intelligence)
Subtlety (endurance)

Very cool idea bravo

I liked it until this paragraph :

The rest was golden.

It was sort of an after thought, an idea thrown out there for people to give feedback on as a slight alternative to the original overall idea. Thank you for the feedback!

I'm not sure, in all honesty this idea was the result of a conversation with a friend whereby we discussed the imbalance of the current system and me wondering what would maybe be better. The real ins and outs of what would fully effect the productivity of your faction members is something I would want the community to chip in with, aswell as developers or people with a real understanding of that aspect. I'd love the community to really get together and fine tune what I personally think is a good base idea for improving the current system.

R+ for the thought and effort but I def have to agree with this.

This part is redundant. Proxies already work with Main heavily. Inactive factions will not have proxies because they'd fall apart before accomplishing anything
