Any ideas?

For anyone who is interested, it wasn't Andy, it was While...no clue why, as while I was confused, while does make sense!

I cant seem to think of anything....kinda interested to know if someone figures this out lol!

I think when you get the capture that makes a word nonsense it takes a usual word, in this case I’d guess whale, and changes one or more letters. This seemed to accidentally change to a word that makes sense. It’s happened to me a couple of times.

I believe the word should have been Whale and it altered it to While to make it not make sense. But infact, it did actually just make another correct word.


Slightly off topic, I did notice that the wiki capture has been updated. You no longer have to click traffic lights or fire hydrants. Instead, you have to click cats or bears. (cats and bears did not make it any easier or fun).

I’m sure I’ve seen whale as an option on another capture xD. But yes you are correct there are a few words it could have also been.

Whole could have also been an option.

I liked the simple one, these new ones take ages

While makes *some* sense to me as being the odd one out, not being a noun *sometimes* - it is usually a verb/adverb/conjunction but is also a noun, such as in "we chatted for a while".

conjunction: "nothing changed while I was away"
verb: "Torn is a diversion to while away my time"
adverb: "The period while I remain out of hosp is hopefully for quite a while" (I snuck the noun form in there as well).

The other words are always nouns, I think. At least I can't think of when they are not.

Edit: better verb, adverb, noun and conjunction example, all in one: "While I search for eggs, I while away my time in the forums, reading all sorts of stuff and answering in the hopes I find another, at least once in a while, while hoping no one else finds any at all, lest they beat me in the total found."

I hate these.. I have a sincere question: if a tiny piece of the school bus or light or cat is encroaching into one of the boxes, are you supposed to click that box, too? Or is there a sort of standard minimum? I never know what to do, I think i screw myself up more than help myself, clicking boxes that probably shouldn't count as having a school bus or traffic light in them.
