Hey everyone,

Just thought I would make an easy-to-access post about what people can unlock with the token shop...tokens.
I remember spending my hard-earned tokens on something I didn't like just b/c I had no idea what they looked like.


As an FYI, I did not create these pictures; I just collected the links to the pics throughout my time playing torn.
If any of these pics belong to you and you want credit, lmk!

Cool, I understand they come with a merit point also , can you stack these ? eg, take 2 backdrops getting 2 merit ? or once only ? per type of shop item ?

goes for hairstyle and backdrop.

Hey, it *is* hair, just facial.

Edit: and get tokens by collecting eggs (for now), in dog tags comp, elim, etc.

You have to wait for the comp to end, unless you have some saved from a prior comp. The # you get also depends on how many eggs others have. You can get a running guestimate from the competition page, and see how many you may have saved from the shop itself, available on that page also.

What? You are wrong here. Yes, each and every single honor bar you can buy from the shop will give you an merit. Total of 14 merits to be unlocked from the token shop - 12 for all the different honor bars and 1 for buying the first hair style, 1 for buying the first backdrop.

To maximize the tokens/merit value you should of course first buy all the honor bars which cost less than the 3 or 5 tokens. After the cheapest honor bars have all been bought, then buy only one hairstyle and one backdrop and continue saving tokens for unlocking rest of the honor bars.
