ok what im trying to do is find as many key workers on here so we can show appreciation to them and remember what they are doing for us all so if you know a key worker list them here, here are two from my faction so please add to this list many thanks
I've been labeled as a key working but tomorrow is my last day of work regardless. If you're going to shout out anyone. Milkbags deserves the recognition for what he does.
Hanging_Judge i total get what your are saying my partner is in education as well but does not consider herself a keyworker but she goes into work every day to look after the children of medical staff and those children that are considered to be vulnerable there for how is that not a key worker
Im one of the people in the back that gets no recognition on any of the lists you see published but i/we do a very important job... here in the UK i/we are the people making sure millions of people keep there job... making sure millions of people are getting paid at least 80% of there wages
I am a civil servant
I have gone to work everyday and watched others leave and go home and saying they are not going to return until this is all over... i am in everyday making sure the people remaining are there and working, working to help the British public maintain a "normal" life
Am considered a "key worker" within the lifting industry, keeping the water works, power stations, distribution centres and manufacturing facilities running.
Everyone still working should be considered a "key worker" because we're keeping the country running with out tax £££.
I wouldn't expect everyone to post, or explain what they do, but I appreciate everyone still working through the risks everyday.
I appreciate all those staying home as well, and doing what they can to minimize traffic, lines, wasted resources what have you.
And most of all, as someone who works in a grocery store, I appreciate the parents who LEAVE THEIR CHILDREN HOME while they shop. Im not talking about the single mom with no help doing what she needs to do. You go girl, or papa, if you have no choice, you still gotta take care of business.
Im talking about the freaking family of 6 people, two adults, teens ect coming through together. Or the shopppers that come daily.
If thats you, just know, every single person you encounter is judging you, harshly.
Everyone else, good job, keep up the hard work, and make sure you are drinking enough water. :)
