    We could remove the 'Select car confirmation' from Official Races perhaps. I don't think there would be any problem with that.

I dont suppose it's a big nor an issue but when choosing a car to go racing, steps 2and 3 are basically the same and it doesn't really make sense to me why.
Step 1: Select car
Step 2: Use this car?
Step 3: Use this car?

Not sure why the repeat, I mean I already clicked to select that car and confirmed my selection in step 2, now I need to re-confirm that I confirmed my original selection. I know it's just one extra click it just seems silly.
I sincerely hope the explanation for it is better than, idiots need a 3rd check. In official races we never know what track we gonna get until car has been picked so if it's the wrong car for that track, you need to change it anyway.

There does seem to be a disparity between Official and Custom races. For custom races, the car is picked up without confirmation:

However, for the Official races, there's an additional confirmation:

We can ask Joe if this is intentional or if it can be streamlined to be the same in both cases. I am thinking, no confirmation on either should work fine as you can switch your cars even if you pick up a wrong one by accident.

Do you mean simply remove the 'Confirmation' from Official Race car selection? It does appear there's only a single confirmation which I believe is acceptable?

But is the confirmation necessary when you are aware which track you will be joining for official races now and can select the car accordingly in the first place?

11:36:20 - 27/05/2020 You changed cars in a race from Ferrari 458 to Peugeot 106
It appears that on clicking official race, the car you selected from previous race is kinda selected in the background until you select the car you want, then you get the "you changed cars" in the activity log.

I did not select the Ferrari here, just clicked official race and selected the Peugeot.
