I'm looking to get into stock market trading but have no idea where to begin or how it works. Also what is the difference between buying the stocks and investing in the stocks? Any tips will be apreciated.

yeah i have that, i'm just really overwhelmed by all the options

Well, other than that the only thing I can say is try and get stocks with high BB payouts like the LSC or FHG. Maybe even the WSSB if you want to go through education courses faster.
really no substitute for experience imo. get in with a small amount of money until you get your legs.
beyond that, track your purchases and sales and watch for patterns.
