This might be an unpopular opinion, but can we add items that increase working stats just like how there's some that increase battle stats?

If it was a Single use item...

The items would most likely work in percentages, because if you just gave a certain number, it would either be too much of a working stat buff for a low level person or too little of a buff for a high level, so it would match boxing gloves and those stuff. it would probably give you more than a 1% increase because people value battle stats over working stats, and while a 1% increase would be super good for a high level, 1% working stat increase would be kinda garbage if it was worth the same as boxing gloves. If it was a single use item, it should probably be around a 1-3% increase.

If it was a renewable item...

A really handy pal in the forum already came up with this idea. Thanks to AEZUR for coming up with this.

Radiator: Spend 5 energy trying to fix radiator for 1 MAN.
Engine: Spend 15 energy trying to fix engine for 5 MAN.

Crossword: Spend 5 energy trying to solve crossword for 1 INT.
Rubix Cube: Spend 15 energy trying to solve rubix cube for 5 INT.

Wrist Weights: Spend 5 energy doing jumping-jacks for 1 END.
Weight Vest: Spend 15 energy doing jumping-jacks for 5 END.

Maybe it would give you a little more working stats, but this is already pretty snazzy

Thanks to Wilinator for advising me to put more detail in the suggestion instead of one sentence.

Before you scoot this over to suggestions, try thinking of some item names and how they would work.
I like your idea but there needs to be more.

Maybe they could add 6 different books, that only give you boosts to working stats and you can get them
in the same fashion subscriber books come (a chance to win once a month)

I think any item like this would have to fall under the system of not being able to be sold.
That being said, an item like "sport sneakers" for working stats could be an interesting idea.

An item that is costly but gives you a 1-3% (or 1-5% variable via quality) boost to your overall working stats.

Curious to see where this one goes, as if implemented it'll be an interesting balance between not being too OP, and not being
easy to access.

Since OP didn't provide an example, and I like the idea...

Items can only be bought from mission store. ~250MC for first tier, ~500MC for second tier. Can be traded/sold. (Makes controlling supply very easy)

Would require a whole day's energy to get quite a bit less than a single train.

Engine: Spend 15 energy trying to fix engine for 5 MAN.

Nice, u really thought that through!
maybe once u get racing u can work in the auto shop, and thats how u get man.
u could have to finish a education course before u can go to the library, where u could do int stuff.
U could buy a jumprope to do end.

Long as they don't cost the same as a Casino Pass :p. These items will likely be bought up quickly if they hit the open market and be billions. I do like the idea depending on how often they drop as mission credit buy-able. I think the amount of work stats should be a bit higher given how expensive energy is. Maybe Tier 1 is 25 and Tier 2 is 50. They probably wont drop often enough to be game changing and people wont dedicate a ton of energy on them.
