Good move for both parties in the current climate imo. CR are a strong group but lacked the numbers that 89 will give them.
It does feel a lot like we are heading towards Insurgency 2.0. There are three major powers on the map who are building alliances and proxies across it.
At some point soon, the exponential growth we have seen of these three powers will falter as they run out of people to conquer who don’t already belong to one of the others.
Will they fight each other for more resources first or will the smaller factions start to fight back? It will be the kind of drama that Ched loves either way!

In all fairness, 89 was a high respect faction.
A player cannot deny that CR are a formidable faction, so under their wing, 89 ... or even Catalysis, will do extremely well as this will form a strong base to build up from.

I don't know enough to speak on that, but based on what I do know, good luck! :)
Not surprising that CR would want to move some of their long time but lower statted core members to a sub faction with how well they've been recruiting lately. And they coulda done worse for themselves as sub-factions go. So definitely a win for everyone.
I wonder if it were purchased or other some arrangement made... anyone from CR or Catalysis wanna give us the juicy goss?
