I just checked BB's SE used stats and found that he used more than 4k SEs. How is that possible ?
That's close to 2Trillion Nw

Back in the day there was no booster cooldown

This meant BB could take as many SE's as he wanted without cooldowns stopping him.

Also SE's were 'cheaper' back then.

No SE cooldowns, "cheaper" SE's and you could mug people for all their money on hand in no time.

It was a lawless wasteland. I'm sad I missed it.

Hes not, he took them before they were 450m, I think he was paying like 10m a pop at one point

He realized how exponential gains could be exploited before Ched did, and it was never reversed

Not all but a better percentage than you could get nowadays.
Also, I don't think there was any cooldown on a mug so you could mug them every time they came out of hospital and still gain the same percentage as the first mug. It was indeed ruthless.

I wasn't around so I don't know how much you'd get but there was no mug protection so consecutive mugs could be done without diminishing returns.

I don't really know why everyone brings up the booster CD thing, tbh he is one of the oldest active players and 4000 SEs at 4 a day is 'only' 1000 days and in terms of this game, that's still not a whole lot...

The mugging and cheaper SEs are a different story though
EmMortal [1615649]
Not all, but it might as well have.

Since there was no such thing as 'mug protection', players could/would buy* pricy items from other players bazaars or market, followed by revive-mugging them out of existence. Leave your revives on and go AFK for 10mins with 500m worth of items in your bazaar, you'd come back to 20m left if the right set of people caught you.

Intravenous therapy wasn't a thing back then either, and SED's were expensive, so 'self-hosping' was a pain in the ass.

And the racket system is a pretty zero-effort way for strong factions to become literally invincible.

15 years passed. Nerfs were put in place but nothing was learned.
Aezur [1950769]
Dont worry, in 40+ years, all the old guard will start dying off, and then the new blood will get the rackets.

Trickle down economics.
