ya i kinda wanna hear unqies reason for stacking over 2 mil items in inventory and not moving it to display or bazaar when he has been told to do so

He cant remove items from his inventory due to the fact that you can not add items to bazaar while in hosp so this can also be fixed by allowing us to add the items while in hosp although this will go against one of the game mechanics of mugging not necessarily buy mugging
Even though you add items to your display case as a trader you can run out of money you will have to be moving the items quickly to get back the cash and keep trading
Unique is a great player but he deserved the fed if he has been warned multiple times

then he has to take some time off trading and do some inventory clean up.
i cant do my dishes when im at the computer, but somtimes i have to stop playin my computer and go and do my dishes.
if i was warned by staff that my action was causing issues for the server, you better be sure i be cleaning my inventory daily every time i would go to sleep.

The reason is probably as simple as him being hard-headed and thinking that he is above all the warnings. "LMAO yeah sure Ched, and what you going to do if I don't move my items?"

As far as I was able to follow this issue. Appearently the staff talked about moving his items and stuff with him multiple times and he still continued with actions he was specifically asked not to do, which caused server lags, hence screwing the game for everyone else.
And as they said, this is just a temporary solution.
It's a known issues and the staff is working on it, but since it's a pretty old game and a old system (as bogie said), it just requires some time. So I feel like it's not too much to ask for a bit of consideration, while they're doing their best to work on it!
Since the Bazaar and the Display Case are also available, it's not like you can't move your 300k items/day. It might be a bit more inconvinient for bigger trader, but it's better than having everyone else suffer...
Just listen to the staff and be cooperative and it'll be fine! :)

most of Torn's code is years old, but they're working on that too slowly updating PHP and DB versions.
Imagine all the blame for Torns shitty servers being pinned on one person... oh wait
But 3mil+ items is insane no matter what way you look at it.

you can get that amount fairly quickly, but not normaly in a day with trading, so he should be able to move items to display or bazaar 1-2 times per day with no issue.
he just have to get it into rutine to deal with it, i dont see anybody else having this issue.
unqie is a good guy, but he has a serrious hoarding problem, and needs to learn to clean his room, not only for his own sake and account, but for all the other players / lagg

I hope unique is let out soon, this seems rather extreme to me.
TBH I imagine part of the problem is that the bazaar and display case are a huge pain. I dont have anywhere near unique's volume, but its still a problem for me.
For the bazaar, as its set up you don't want to just dump everything there because then customers would never FIND anything. How many times have you opened a bazaar to buy something, seen 5000 listings and just went 'nah'
And the 10k limits at a time for people dealing in the millions its crazy to expect them to slowly shift things 10k at a time.
Not to say there isnt a problem here, there clearly is. But the solution shouldnt be just to tell unique or other to 'fix' it, it should be to fix the mechanics that makes it difficult for major traders to comply. They are a valuable and important part of the community.

maybe some kind automatic moving system could work? moving 10k every 5 sec or something.

Yes, it should be fixed. But in the meantime he can only blame himself so let him stay in fed for a while so he learns his lesson.

I understand the player has been warned about this, however, how a player stores items in their inventory is not a part of the ToU, unless they have intentionally bought a mass amount of items to create a DDoS attack they are not breaching any rules.
I think fedding an account is extreme, it is not on the player to alter how they play the game because Ched can't fix a known issue after several years. This is just another example of how Ched doesn't really care about the player base and rather than dealing with issues he finds the easiest solution.
I highly doubt that Ched fedding this account is going to allow him to implement changes that will allow the player to return in a reasonable amount of time and the fact that this fedding took place without discussion with you as a community manager is a joke, what is the point of Ched having a community manager or the committee if discussions are not taken place when changes directly impact the player base?

There’s a search feature for bazaars, you should try using that instead of searching manually. If you’re too stupid to realise it’s there to save time, then that’s your own problem.

We already have heavily subsidized mug protection with the Clothing Store, unlimited ghost trades, and infinite safe cash storage in faction/company. A cap on inventory items and using the Display Case as a warehouse to store excess inventory seems very reasonable; even if it exposes traders to having to sort stuff while outside the hospital.
