Stupid Rules

I've played this game faithfully for many years along with my wife and have pretty much retired. For the past couple of years I signed in daily to assure my money was safe in the faction and to gamble and train. I also hoped my wife would come back. A few weeks ago I got sick of covid and was hospitalized unable to sign in. But now thete is some stupid moronic rule where if you don't sign in for a few weeks ALL you own and worked hard for is straight out given to another player. WTF????? My wife even paid real cash into this game.

If you don't sign in for weeks, you should still return to meet your items. However, if you had cash on hand, it may be mugged if someone discovers you're inactive with cash on hand.

As long as you earned your stuff fairly, you should still have it.

Just to clarify, are you talking about the money you had in your faction's vault? If so, that rule is your faction's, not Torn's.

You would have been way better off talking to staff and or Bogie regarding your situation. You may have been given the benefit due to what is going on in the world, and your hospitalization.

I have no idea what this is in reference to. But there is no need for the harassing commentary, especially since it seems this post was borne of a total misunderstanding on your part on how the game works.

What others have said is probably the most likely outcome, that your money was taken by your faction mates. This is not a "rule" or even an automated game function; this is something another player would have willfully done, not Torn staff or even Chedburn.

A great way to find out is to navigate to your faction page, scroll to the bottom, click the drop down menu and select Funds. Look through that log to see where your balance would have been changed or where money would have been moved around.

I'm going to grave this post but I hope you get your answers soon. You're welcome to message me personally and we can take a look at what might have happened (don't be rude though). Please refrain from all the death wishes, it's not a good look.
