I guess most ppl have already moved to greener pastures by now. The game lost over 50% of its player base in the last couple of months, and i would guess it will continue doing so for a while.
The hype didn't last as long as fall guys, but i assume the devs are still happy with all the sales they made in these couple of months.
I don't know whats the next big indie thing, there still isn't one i think.

Who knows? Might pick back up again once they release the Henry Stickman airship map.
Who knows... Would not be the usual behaviour though... For this kinds of games once the memes die so does the game (well, they go back to their residual amount of players).
I mean it still has over 150k players at most times of the day, so its far from being abandoned, but its going downhill as it is usual once the hype dies.

I have, my sister has a tiktok account where she posts among us videos with her friends and they gained over 1k followers today so I guess people still like it
The game is pretty fun, just shit with randos cause too many cheaters.
Also too many young children.
the number of 8 year olds leaving because they got crewmate and not imposter is astounding
It is so annoying when they do that or when they decide before the game starts to vote a colour off and tell everyone to vote them off. I stream and had some guy hate me yesterday and kept targeting me and getting me killed or voted off multiple times in a row and killed me in front of a group

I think Among Us is not a game to be putting hours upon hours on it. It's a game to relax after your gaming session and gather your friends.

It’s still pretty fun when you get a group together that knows each other :). My kid and I are working on building a replica Polis map on Minecraft this week.
I'm still waiting for the airship
I play every weekend also use Proximity Chat if I can get enough people (rarely). Would love to play with more people.

i mean, the game is actually fun. So, if they add a new map, players might come back. To be honest though, i like watching let's plays from youtubers (Disguised toast, valkyrie, sykunno etc.) instead of playing the game itself. The game is more fun if you are playing it with real friends and well, my friends didn't show any interest yet.
I would love to play some among us with people!
I still play, been looking for people to play with, my wife plays torn as well as among us too!
