So question for bogie... bogie [148747]

That server upgrade in 2020? The one you mentioned when discussing where the donor dollars were being spent?

The server upgrade that was going to solve the server lag issues during Valentine's Day?

Can we revisit that discussion, as I sit here waiting for my target's profile to come up on another tab?

Granted, the server has only completely crashed on me once forcing me off.

Compared to last year, it does seem slightly better, and it is possible we have considerably more users participating this year, none of whom are currently practicing social distancing.

(Yes, I remember the Mardi Gras image and analogy from last year).

For the benefit of the thousands of people who have joined in the last 52 weeks, can we discuss server lag during events?

Typical bogie and Ched, all the corporate bull shit and then when you try and hold them accountable they behave like children.

I'd just like to point out that around June or July we should be able to find out how much Ched spent on servers last year. Considering it was supposed to be a huge upgrade one would expect that in the assets Torn holds.

Let's wait and see.

As frustrating as this is, it's not that bad. Been around long enough to have seen the entire site go down for less, when no event was going on. The fact people are able to complain in the forums live is a testament to how not bad it is lmao.
