All the attributes you need for bogie to accept your staff application:

1 - Brown nose bogie
2 - Talk on global chat 24/7

It's basically a way for bogie to invite all his friends to apply and only choose out of them, he already knows who he will choose.

Any person with a normal life outside this game I advise you not to waste your time applying.

I don't think I accepted anyone who regularly talks in global in any recent applications, that's not a put down at global, just an observation at recent applications. Plenty of the staff I have accepted are people who I have very rarely interacted with before they became staff, some of my best and most active officers such as Benny and Thrie (I hope they don't mind me singling them out!) I don't think I ever spoke with before they applied to staff and neither really use global chat. Benny I actually turned down the first time he applied, he asked me for feedback for next time, took that in board and I accepted him from there - in fact I regret having not having taken him on sooner! A good application that stands out really helps. :)

If you want to apply and think you can make a difference then I encourage anyone to apply, if you don't want to apply/it's not for you then that's fine too! No one is forcing anyone to apply, and there are strict policies in place for staff members which I understand can put people off too, but for those who do want to apply I wish the best of luck.

While there are many good staff members I don't think bogie is as unbiased and professional as he makes out when it comes to hiring staff members. A week after my app Ched started adding "Project manager" to his weekly roles and it doesn't seem like opinions are welcome, they just want people who won't publicly criticise them.

Good luck to anyone who applies though, great that new people are added regularly.

Lol, your whining about crimes 2.0 has made even Ched a bit tired at you, to put it mildly. You burned your bridges a long time ago, why would they spend time and money when the risk that you'd go full retard at some point is so high.

For the record, I never shared your application with Ched or anyone else for that matter. There was a time where I could genuinely see potential for you as a staff member, your applications clearly showed interest, but I wish you all the best with the gameplay style you have chosen.

Best of luck to all applicants, it's not easy.

I'd only advise taking this position if you have a LOT of free time, willing to drop time from your own gameplay for staff duties (can depend on what staff position) and have a level head.

Whining? What a mornic mentality people in this game have. Gotta love that being passionate about something and wanting the best for the game makes you a liability.

Either way I don't care, I won't be applying to staff again, just think it's fair for people to know what is truly expected of them rather than spouting bullshit PR.

i find it disturbing that he never rules out, past cheaters, exploiters or rule violators. Can not do that now can we? His "buds" would not be eligible. Best way to know people are being "vetted" is to have them contact the ignored players and beg to remove them. Have had one already contact me. ROFL, will see if he makes the list.

So Bogie, why is that not on your requirements? Or do you encourage staff to cheat, exploit or violate the rules?

I'm sure people who break the rules would struggle to find themself on staff. I do find it moronic to blacklist people because they are his friends, I know there are plenty of people bogie is friends with would make great staff.

I do find it dumb though that I am somehow a poor choice for staff because I have an opinion. An inability to take criticism says a lot.

I think I am always fair and unbiased when criticising Ched and bogie, I have always been helpful towards new and returning players and I am highly knowledgeable of the game. The only reason they have for not wanting me on staff is my public criticism which is very unprofessional in my opinion.

While you are on it, get someone to actually moderate the Non related section without threads or posts having to be reported.

It could really use some moderation quite often.
