Thats a way to stay safe too :P non of the muggers will attack just to prove that the delay is to long
Dunno if theres a way to tell if eaven someone tried to mugg you or just evreyone let you alone to prove the delay is to long

Its more a thing about people overused scripting and API stuff so mugging gave a 100% result.
With the delay you stand atleast a chance to get of plane and store money away IF your active IF your fast IF you prepared what you want to do.

So i would say not getting mugged in 1 week wont profe anything.

No use going after an active player traveling with cash. Only spend any time and effort going after the idle and offline ones.

There are a lot of people who aren't nearly as active and spend a while in countries before they come back online. I think this system just rewards those who are on top of it and are very engaged, giving them a fighting chance to not be insta-mugged. I know from personal experience that there a lot of people who passively fly and they should be easy targets. 15 seconds is a very short time for most of the people flying, you have to be really on top of things to be on your way in 15 seconds. That being said I don't have much experience as a mugger, just as a flyer. So I might be missing something.

You're doing God's work,

So, before the change, the API reported that you had landed (leading to an instant mug) even before the webpage responded to that information.
Now the API still reports you landed before that event actually takes place in your browser, but the admin says you have 15 seconds to notice it.
How long did the webpage take to acknowledge and react to the information? I didn't get that part.

You don't get a log when landing, only one on leaving.

Why the assumption that if your from the UK your uncatchable?

I made it back to torn, but between captcha, DB window, and navigating to the faction vault to deposit I ran out of the 15sec safe time.

Mug was at 20sec from when I landed in torn - took me a while to figure that one out, I'm slow :p

I can't genuinely blame my Internet connection for this, if anything I'd blame my chubby fingers for not doing the tappy fast enough on mobile.

I'll do some trial runs and keep track of my logs (now I know how to, ha!) to see if I can improve ^.^

At this point I was quite ready to go for a round 2 and attempt carrying some half a bil on flights again - mostly because I was curious if I'd make it, and because I very much enjoyed the challenge (losing $34m, not so much).

However the last run I wanted to try and deposit in the faction vault instead of PI, and failed in the exact same way I failed the day before:

Conclusion: as much as I personally hate the 15sec immunity window, it seems it is genuinely needed for players who are limited to mobile only. Those with no PI vault access are royally screwed regardless, as the faction page takes too long to load, navigating to the armory tab and depositing money seems incredibly challenging from mobile. Another thing I noticed was the buttons for "add max amount" and "deposit" on the armory page are unresponsive for a brief time (tappy-tappy no work)

The experiment was done on mobile only with wonky mobile data, as we all know players on laptop/PC have a massive advantage here. This is why I (and many others) will continue to believe 15sec is way too long.
