I have a few questions regarding the special fruitcake, I recently got a mission called "Bakeout Breakout" which gave me cake frosting and a lockpicking kit. If you used it on a fruit cake you get a "special fruitcake" ,What happens when you send it to someone in jail? and where can I get the ingredients? I can't find any of the ingredients in the item market.

You will see the change being announced in today's patch list.
You can buy a special fruitcake already made in the market/bazaars. The mission itself will send you the frosting and lock picking kit and you can provide a plain fruitcake (also market). When you send it to someone in jail, nothing happens on their end. They get no notification of the item. It's solely to complete the mission.

After u buy the fruit fake, open your inventory on Miscellaneous items category. Use the kit and frosting that duke sent you. After you are done, send iy to anyone level 80++ with jail time over 6 hours. Visit jail to check them out. That will make sure you really will send to someone who is in jail by the time you are sending it.
No you can't buy special fruitcake in market. You must build it by following the steps I explained.

Yeah was thinking this might have come from a bug report or player suggestion which could be linked. But seems just a random change.
