It's been a long road, but $3,200,000,000 and 5 months was all it took to reach Torn's nerve cap, and I can now confirm it is in fact 32,767. Any additional nerve gained after the fact will not materialise, the same as xanax at 1k E

And now you get to decide what I do with it.

Do you think I deserve to be able to use this nerve to earn back some of what I spent? Should I have the privilege of performing 3k warehouse arsons to boost my CE a little higher? Do you think Andyman should have free-reign over it to collect more crime data? Should I just overdose on xanax and wipe the stack?

At 7:30 TCT on the 29th of Aug I'll do whatever the poll decides. You have 72 hours.

Great dedication! Now we'll always know for sure and can reference back to this thread.

I'll be the boring one and say you finish 5k illegal goods selling and 15k theft (partially), this will give you a bunch of merits.


But on the other hand I'm also curious if you fail enough crimes and let your NNB drop if that would remove the whole stack. Haven't read anywhere if this will happen if you're over max of your Nerve Bar and drop in NNB.

Well, that's 1 question answered: 32,767 is the highest a signed integer can go, so makes sense.

But that just leads to another question... why is it signed? That means that the minimum is -32,767. Can we get negative nerve? Have you uncovered a new mystery?

No... That's just the datatype Chedrick picked that day in the way-back-when...

Now what you need to do is to OD so you can brag you have the biggest nerve loss due to OD in torn history as well. That's 2 records beaten.
