Doing some quick races with a friend to get them the merit, and I noticed that after the initial 1m wait time, the time has a lot of variance (and the timer itself is bugged sometimes as in the example below

The timer jumps from 55s. The total was 1m 32s which seems par the course.

For this timer I also recorded times of 58s to 2min3s in other races. Is this just rng or a bug? The timer is big I think, but I'm not sure if it's just a visual discrepency or the timer's actually changing server side for some reason. A clarification would be v helpful, thanks!

It's not really a bug, just a small confusion because of some system limitations. Currently we are checking the main timer right from the exact second when race was created, however we also have 1 minute cooldown time (when no one else can join the race) at the end and a minute cron run - both this things may cause timer to 'jump' correcting itself to the real time. It's not really something that can spoil the overall experience much, however it's definitely in our list to check and improve, thanks.

Yep, its only really noticeable (and annoying) when doing multiple small races for the 250 races won merit. Thanks for the tlresponse, and good luck!
