It is with a severely heavy heart we have to say goodbye for the last time to our beloved silver. We recently got the news silver had succumbed to her battle with a dual case of Covid-19 and Pneumonia. It is not easy words to say or hear and I miss her already. Be it disbelief for completely denial her passing still doesn’t feel entirely real.
Some of you completely cherished her, some of you hated her, and some even envied her, but the reality is she was able to get each and everyone of us to think about her and try our best. She molded HAKA in a way no one else could.
There will be a massive emptiness in all our hearts at HAKA. I’m sure this emptiness will stretch far and wide with people she was close with from numerous factions. She will forever be missed. I am not a religious man, but may God let her rest in peace and watch over her loved ones.
Please feel free to recount any memories you have of silver below. Hatred will NOT be tolerated. This is very hard for all of us at HAKA as well as Black Statues and Octogenarian DirtyBombers.
It would be a blessing to her if we could get as many people as we could to change their honor bar to Silver Belt, would mean a tremendous amount to all of us!

We've been in touch with the Family who heard about the thread and asked for an exported copy so they can read over the messages. I don't think they were prepared for 55 pages and a considerable donation though.

The Family knew Torn and Haka were a large part of Silver's life, I like to think they are realizing now that Silver was a large part of our lives too. To those who posted messages and added to the fund, thank you, we lost our leader and I'm not sure Haka can ever repay the community for the love shown. You can see it means a great deal to the Family, and that's the most important thing.
(We are in the process of sending the funds, I hope to add to this post later with evidence all money was sent)

I've just said it to council, but I think what would truly have made Silver proud was the way that we have rallied together and shown that we are whanau, not just to each other, but to her RL family. Her family are honestly so grateful to everyone for all of the support we have given over the past 10 days or so, we have brought a ray of happiness into a tragic event in their lives. I'm an emotional wreck right now, but have just gotten off the phone to Silver's other half and they are so touched by the overwhelming support coming from our weird corner of the internet and proud to see how much Silver meant to all of us. I told Silver's partner that they married into the whanau, and are one of us. Please know that however shit you might be feeling right now, your messages and donations have made a huge difference to Silver's family, and will be cherished forever
