That’s kind of unfair, life is unfair, but if weaker factions can abuse such mechanics it’s just not right. I think that hospitalizations caused by bounties should not contain early discharge. Maybe for those asses who are bounties 24/7 anyway have a little bit more fun, but at the expense of the devastation of our RW system.

Bountying their own members doesn't mean you couldn't ever hit them, you just have to beat people claiming the bounties. And/or group attack the tougher members of that faction. Your fix doesn't make any sense, by which I mean I literally don't understand it:

If 10 lower level players had been attacked by outside players and were in the hospital for 3 hours, early discharge could be used by the other faction to allow them to be attacked and make outside influence on the ranked war negligible.

Maybe you can elucidate this. It sounds like you're suggesting Faction A gets to "Early Discharge" if Faction B are attacked by outside hitters? Which wouldn't follow any sort of logic
Quack [2721068]
Apologies, Faction A would get to Early discharge members of Faction B, instead of only faction B being able to discharge themselves whenever they want, faction A would also have the option to early discharge the members of faction B if they were hit by outsiders.

Sorry I didn't have enough coffee today when attempting to come up with a solution...

Eh, I think it's a slippery slope to to remove the ability to bounty/be bountied from RW. That would basically give someone a sort of protection where it's otherwise used as a form of "community punishment".

Buy mugger? No bounties for the duration of your war!

Racist? (yea I'm talkin about you Man_Eats_Pants, formerly Dirty_south_619) no bounties for you!

Just scam your faction Vault and make it into another faction and enlist before anyone finds out? Bounty protection!

One could theoretically get together in a sort of super faction for the hated (ehem) and essentially have windows of potential days where they can't be bountied so they're safe from the community punishment.

I believe it's a viable, albeit dirty tactic, and just because ones morals get in the way of them doing it to their own faction, doesn't make it any less of a play style. Props to you, though, our RW's we negotiated terms beforehand where we wouldn't bounty them or our own.

Solution: Chain of 2.5k-5k on outsider factions and only drop bonus hits on top 4 actives while keeping them in the hospital while online xD

so..... Faction A could have outside people hit Faction B, to the point that Faction A can Early Discharge Faction B whenever they want?

makes no sense
Quack [2721068]
Yeah it is a pretty weird solution, but I consider early discharge to be a weird solution to begin with...
Quack [2721068]
ah I see the issue here,

no Faction B would have people hit their own members, Hiring a merc to hosp their lower stat members when they are inactive/not attacking...

Faction A would be early discharging members of faction B in order to allow them to be hit for respect.
Unlucky [2472585]
If only their top members are attacking and the rest are bounty locked you should use your entire faction to chain as normal, then use offensive revives/group hits to drop the bonuses on them.
Proxima [1879587] Wiki Editor
Yeah but being able to remove people from hospital (outside of the revive mechanic) feels super sketchy. Reviving is a sketchy enough system as it is
Quack [2721068]
The thing is, Doesn't early discharge being implemented already remove that?

This would not change how bounties are taken during ranked warring, as early discharge was already implemented.
Quack [2721068]
That is a good point, but unless you use the system yourself, they will still gain more net respect than you.

IE you are not gaining war points by attacking those outside the faction...

So what your saying is the faction could storm the hospital take the enemy from the beds ( that were put there by corrupt ambulance people working for the patient ) and punish them outside and send them back into hospital and the rank war can carry on as intended ?
python [1009878]
What I would say if only a couple people in your faction can hit certain members you aren't making use of group attacks on them they are overpowering 3 people with <2bn combined stats can take down 5bn+ player

we had that issue that a main faction attacked the faction we were warring to get early discharge and reduce our targets it became a long dragged out battle (we still won it and it was still fun but the strat is cheese and annoying ) the faction interference is going to be a problem with or without early discharge with all the faction family's/alliances now. The only solution i could see is if your at war you kinda have a war bubble where you unable to be effected at all by outside forces seprit from the main game till the war is over (not that i like this solution im just saying its the only way i could think it work).

was this war here "https://www.torn.com/war.php?step=rankreport&rankID=495" just under 4 days long
