If you use Energy while spending it, like for example training in the gym. Instead of gaining 5 Energy you gain 10.

The issue has already been reported in this report. The bars sometimes jump a step or two extra visually when you are around the 5 min mark. A page refresh or navigating to a different page restores the bar to normal.
