Markup-capable message boxes

Hi there, my suggestions for improving the public realm is to make the faction, company et al message boxes markup capable, i.e. _italics_ *bold*, ~strikethrough~, etc.
I, for one, think that my hilarious jokes would land better if I could speak in more than plain text. Why leave that ground for discord to gobble up?

It's fairly well hidden, but in the top right of the mail area, there is an icon of a capital A with an arrow. If you click/tap it, it will show this dropdown with all the markup and formatting options for mail.
