And that is completely understandable. There are still plenty of benefits to donating on your own rather than through a third party. Getting relevant tax documents is easier, you're significantly less limited in your options, and of course, some non-profits offer their own direct benefits for doing so.

In the game i do a a theme. Nature Watch PLC.

Helping field mice etc.

I have the same view in real life.

im not one of those deranged eco hippies. but i am concerned about the effect we are having on the environment and eco system.

The only global charity I have a standing order with is Médecins Sans Frontières
That clicky link is the Irish website, but I highly recommend finding their site for your own country and giving what you can.
Doctors Without Borders, they treat everyone impartially with the same respect and diligence to care across the board, no matter nationality, or creed, or lack thereof everywhere from conflict zones, to areas affected by natural disasters or epidemics.
I would love to see this very, very worthy charity in Torn’s Charity Centre.

The fact that people are bitching about this because of “ah no tax reductions” means they aren’t people who donate as it is righteous, but because they themselves are self-centred.

There are resources that do that > direct link here for a Charity Watch organization.

I would also like something vetted by Ched, some committee members perchance, so that we can utilize the money best > preferably with a sticky on top for something like Ukraine where there's a direct resource guide for the current major war on-going in the European / Baltic theatre.

Furthermore, obviously that is NOT the only issue in the world, and Ched could always include a list of local charities along with the normal charities; like ASPCA (pets) or even WCK (hunger) - that's not to even mention the very current and very much on-going struggle in Iran as well that the Torn populace can help support.

Either way, I think the community would appreciate some feedback to where we can make a difference should this tab exist even if it doesn't benefit us in the game with something easy to see and donate to directly with easy donation options (I want to be able to use PayPal, my card, and other methods if possible) to simplify my options and make the most impact possible.

Also, while it's not for everyone, I think a bitcoin wallet could be useful so people who want to donate more anonymously have the option to do that too.

Anything to do with rehabilitation would be wonderful, prison is just so badly done in many places (for profit prisons)

and for items as “rewards” (don’t want to call it that), maybe if you donate to war related charities you could get things like USA’s trifold flags, Britain’s poppys, and things other Nations use to honour them.

i would like to see 3 things personally.

1. any charity where the overwhelming majority of donations go to the actual cause, rather than overheads/administration.
2. charities that help disadvantaged children with school fees, tutoring, camps during holidays, school uniforms
3. a rotating option for once a month, or once every 3 months to vote/nominate charities that may not necessarily be global, but do amazing local work.

You clearly dont know how taxes work. I'm going to use very round numbers in simple scenarios to explain it to you.

If you have 100k income and 30% taxes you would pay 30k in taxes. You "lose" 30k.
If you have 100k income, 30% taxes and donate 10k you pay 30% on 100k-10k=90k. 0.3*90= 27k. You lose 27k in taxes and 10k in donations.

So despite donating and it being tax-deductible you are out a significantly bigger amount of money than you would be not donating at all. Clearly if they were self-centered they would simply not donate at all (not that people who dont donate are self-centered).

Does anyone donate £10 to Charity few times a year (like me) and factor in their possible tax deductions? Seriously?

And the example of an individual donating 10K to Charities via this wonderful game....and losing out on tax breaks...are you having a laugh or what?!

Naw, that shits for rich people. Anyone that both donates and does their taxes knows shits not even worth a second thought unless you donate a shitton. All the ones griping about it are people that have either never donated, never done taxes, or both. (In the US anyway)
