Did something change with rehab? Perhaps some retroactive situation where having done rehab for X amount of times makes the price go up little by little?
I know I haven't gone there for over 2 years, but needing to rehab Quantity: 23617 times for a total of $4,723,400,000 when back in the day rebuilding the whole thing was 2B...well, just seems like I should open one of such fine establishments myself and charge others.
'situation where having done rehab for X amount of times makes the price go up little by little?'
I am waaay younger than you, so don't know when (or if) it changed. But your guess here is true. The more you do, the more expensive it gets as it gets less effective up to a max cap.
Right, "the rich stay richer" by...having a much higher compound cost due to much more frequent rehab? Your logic is undoubtedly flawless.
Either way, if the cost goes up (or, better yet, the effect gets reduced) by number of times one rehabs and not by the total amount of rehab sets done, this means the system is simply idiotic. Rehabing 10 sets all at once or 1 set in 10 times, should have the same effect.
*HURR DURR* yeah the upgrades required some time and respect in the old system. Hell even today it requires... "Challenge: Rehab 100,000 times" you numbnut. If anything, you should be thanking us for doing the work so you have the option to join proper factions with proper upgrades.
And holy shit... You are a faction leader and you don't know this stuff? And after 6 years of playing? Boy, do you even read?
Ah, here's a typical example of Schrodinger's douchebag.
Reading all of your posts on this thread makes it clear that you weren't being sarcastic at all, yet when called out on your stupidity, you decide to try that avenue. Quite pathetic.
Since when does that have any relevance to my opinion of the price? All that shows is that I was curious how something I believed went up in intervals of 250k, could end up with a 400k.
Presuming you have max toleration in the faction, you stop using it at whatever point you can buy 250 E for less than 5.35 million dollars. Or at the point your energy could be better used for SEs. (that is without the rehab cost reduction perk too btw)
The worst rehab can ever get is where you need 18 rehabs per Xanax (35 if you are not in a faction with maxed toleration)
If there was no such thing as overnight decay, and you were in a faction with no toleration, and your rehab costs were already maxed, and you took 3 xanax per day for 2 years, that would be 76,650 addiction points to remove, for a total cost of 19,1625 billion. With max toleration, and including decay of 20 each night (couldn't remember if its 20 or 21), thats 24,820 addiction points at a cost of 6.205 billion.
(This is also presuming zero overdoses in 2 years, but meh)
I cannot believe I took the time to work this out and reply ;)
Edit: If your faction has maxed rehab reduction then take of 20% of the costs.

Must admit I was going to put in a bug report after recently rehabbing (last went Oct 2020)...
