That is rough. Next time you will know to send the money via trade. Once the trade is complete, ownership gets transferred.

You first have to join the company, set trade add money and they have to add the company, check to make sure everything is ok before finalising the trade.

Maybe don't buy a company just yet? They are not that easy to run, not sure if you have all the education done for it.

Sorry for the bad deal you got! But its Torn, you learn quickly :)

While an expensive lesson learned, you would've likely ran that company into the ground if you had kept it regardless. If you spent your entire net on it and had to borrow money to afford it, you're not in any position to run a successful company, let alone not having the proper stock benefits and education courses done.

I'll give you a tip that'll help you in the future.

Dont put your trust into people on here you just met.
Shooby [2510470]
A lot of people you've known on here won't have any issue robbing you blind either. We see people who've known each other/been friends for years get scammed all the time. Trusting anyone irl, online or especially on a competitive the internet game is a risk.

I guess, for some reason I just felt like the torn community was trustworthy, i also didnt know companies could be safely traded so i thought that was the only way

It's tough you lost the money, but it's a good thing you learn this lesson early on.

Better to lose a few hundred million now than to get scammed out of a couple billion later. Trust but verify.

EDIT: And yes, level up and get flying already. QED is right.
