What's up with the demand on employees. I'm literally paying my employees 4x market price of their stat worth and it's still somehow difficult for me to hire people?

For perspective, i pay someone with 40k stats total 1.5m/day and someone with 100k stats 6m/day

Please help?

maybe cuz you are 0* company and a director with no edu finished nor bb's people with 100k stats aim for better companies too

To help you put this into another perspective:

Why would they want to be employed in a 0* Gas Station? There are no perks, and even at higher stars the perks are very niche, and you can't really train much at 0*.

It’s definitely not the only way to fund a company, I can assure you of that. Your first mistake was even opening one at 63M NW lmao.

That's a real sustainable business model you have right there. PLUS the 6mil/day.....how can anyone refu.....

*shrugs*

Edit: typo

There are too many companies in the game for the number of active players who play the game.

Yes many companies should just be sold back to the system.

People join companies for the perks…. Or to help out faction or friends…

if you don’t have the perks then you’re likely going to have to overpay and only get people looking for high wages in exchange for no perks

honestly… best to just never run a company at a loss… if you can’t run a current company without taking a daily loss, then get out, buy an established company or find another workaround, but best to not take a daily loss. Only exception I could see, would be to take a L if means maintaining 10* for perks or maintaining certain star rank for perk, like maintaining 5* or 7* depending on company type

Lotta unhelpful advice here, similar to real life the population of morons is extremely high. My dog probably has a higher IQ than half the people that are gonna read this. A lot of people are happy and think it is cool to own a top company like a TV and oil rig and make the SAME AMOUNT that their employees are making. So you have a bunch of idiots running companies making 5m a day, while paying 3-5m per day. I have a company that cost me 250m and it makes that much just selling trains but for some reason morons want to spend 20b to make as much as my 250m company.

There is a factor that Chedburn just has a bad system that likely is never going to get changed. It is a joke that you need to find players 1000 days old just to have the stats you need for a company that is making 300k daily profits. The game is living in the time it was made and not updated since -- thinking inflation isn't a thing and that the 10k dollars crimes gives per week is enough to feed a family for a year, companies are in the same crap system from back when employees were cool with getting paid little money and mansions were the equivalent of PI's. I personally think stats should seriously be lowered for all companies to fix the crappy system.

You are better off being an employee -- the only reason to own a company is for the bank (and by bank that means you are rich enough for SYS stock BB) or if you own a high end company that is actually profitable.

Damn. This explains it so eloquently, I'm honestly flabbergasted. Tysm for your input, i'll likely be taking your advice :)
