A while ago i got mugged by PT faction members, at the time, during a window of a few seconds that i had a lot of money in my hands,

After those mugs i asked how this was possible on the forums, been informed that they probably used my api key and scripting, after that i reset my API key..., never imagining the possibility of ever getting my money back...

But, by chance while browsing the forums, i saw today that Magno, PT faction member, was banned exactly for the use of scripts and API keys, and that the players mugged got they money back. Because of this i am wandering if there is any chance that can get my money back, i am not even asking for those players to be banned, just to get my money back as they broke the rules of torn to mug me

Many years ago, when i was lower level, i banked money for Magno, he would give me his money that i would invest in the bank, giving him back the profit but keeping some of it, and i joined his faction for some time

Check your API calls. If your API calls happened close to the mugging time, then probably there is foul play.

If not, the next question is what you were doing prior to getting mugged. Was it getting your bank investment the moment you got online? Was it casino?

Any chance your trade expired at that time or anything?

Magno did the API mugs you mention. There was a long investigation by the staff into the whole situation, during which everyone predicted that others would be implicated, but they were not. Magno worked alone, his mugs were reversed, and he was permanently fedded. Reporting the mugs may give you peace of mind, so is certainly worth doing.

However, I just looked into this myself as I had a strong hunch what sort of mug it was, and I was right - in fact it was explained to you at the time:

You flew to the Cayman's out of the blue; you were spotted; money spies were done; you got mugged.

No API abuse even needed here, just a discord bot and the 3* Hair Salon job special which shows money on hand. You put a target on your back which some players were explicitly looking out for mate. Would have been the same if you were an armour or Armalite runner etc; loads of HOF facs look out for targets like you.
