I’ve seen some GAY things in TORN but this is probably the GAYEST thing I’ve ever seen by far .

Wanted to catch up with work work first, hence the long delay in response.

Probably the 2 most insane days of torn me and everyone in Deja have had. It started at the worst time possible with the first few hours being in a Dystopia RW and giving up a pretty uncomfortable headstart but all I can say is I am extremely proud of the way we clawed back into this from that point and managed to run up that score uncomfortably high on the back assault at LRC.
The stakes couldn't ever been higher compared to any RW even with its incentives of caches and loot. Old school TT warring is undeniably still one of the best things in torn still. And winning a defensive war in a sector 1 tt is definitely going into our album as is the effort in trying to do the double and win the assault too.

Energy wise, in an alliance war of this size imo no energy is really wasted. We received some 22K outside hits which constantly rained on all of us and I don't think any of it was a waste either. In the end it was a means to achieve something, get OSC and secure LRC and it did the job for the latter. So well played WW/OBN.

@Crypto/RoD/JFK, honestly over the past few weeks its been as if we're all part of one big faction (insert joke about NS and M merging here) but the support you guys showed in defending OSC with us and the assault on LRC was nothing short of incredible and was a big reason we pushed our limits so much into it.

IMOTF/Axiom/Nameless, this fight will be remembered very fondly by us at Deja. And it gave all of us here many memorable events.

Counted up the joins, clear etc from OSC/LRC walls as well as our KEF wall (since we would jump there to get onto the others). I did not count the FFF wall for IMOTF yet as its not done but spoke to Prynce who thinks it wasn't used too much.

Summary:
- just shy of 26,000 and 16,000 wall joins for Deja and IMOTF respectively
- just under 1300 and 2400 clears for Deja and IMOTF respectively
- and from Hamid & Sparks posts - 33600 and 24900 attacks received respectively both inside and from the alliance (edit, mixed the numbers around)

It's also not stupidity from either side from a tactical perspective. You do what it takes to win or wtf are you even doing?

The whole concept is stupid but using what ched gave you isn't.

pro tip, does it look stupid when you cannot win a wall, and you need 8 different alliances outside hitting us... Lets hope you have E when you actually need to win a wall :P

It looks stupid when you can't make any clear progress for months and keep banging your head against the wall, then try to push enough transfers to win and are shocked Pikachu when the opponent says f**k it were not gonna waste time +1ing if this is how its gonna be let's just go all the way and get it done.

This is the war as it stands, we've escalated into mass transfers cause your side got desperate.

To be clear it's always been headed this way. Just don't see how it'll change the final outcome.

I guess when losing you throw anything at the wall to see if you can do it better, so here we are.

Would love to see someone do a cost analysis on this, see how much the wall cost torn, and how "valuable" those two tiles are. Though I wouldn't trust my own numbers right now as I'm still in need of rest.

IDK about your side but our side has implemented a seasonal draft system where players go into a pool each season and are re-picked based on faction scores. So the highest performing factions need to keep it up to keep the higher draft picks or the better ones will start vacuuming the performing members up.

What you're seeing now is the result of that draft system rather than a reaction to our opponents. I hope that helps clear things up. Highly recommend it, trash players deserve to fall into the worst factions while top performers move up.
