As humble foxes rarely do the Vulpes come on the achievements forum but making a 100,000 chain has gotta be an exception!

It was unthinkable for us to even make an attempt at this until last year when we aced a 50k within the Halloween event and way ahead of our expectations on pace. One of the best parts of being leadership in this fine old institution is the constant way in which our members just calmly get on with shit and this chain was no exception.

Our chain watchers are simply the best in the business, thankyou all! Special shout out to mahadi, Neodecandente, cutefoxy and Lil_Rogue who put in an insane amount of hours.

The stars aligned for Rogue when his company hit 10 stars mid-way through the chain and he was able to make a ridiculous [background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]3,228 hits. Bobdawildman, Zelkova, muddy and Aleph all made over 2k hits. There are too many members to shout out and hit counts are skewed to those on books and varying degrees of basket upgrades, but I would like to say we hit the jackpot with our recent recruit, SpeedSkater, who put in shift after shift with watching and making our discord a fun place to be!

Recent changes on the map made it possible for us to throw tons of resources at this chain. We paid out billions in points and boosters to help maximise treats for members. If you're looking for a change of faction, don't take yourself too seriously and have the activity then consider Vulpes as a destination to grow!

Finally a huge thank you to our war dwarf, Aleph. Not only did he lead from the front with hits but his preparation and comms throughout made everyone feel secure that we would see this through to the finish. There was no one more deserving of landing the final hit on our old faction mate and fren:

I would just like to publically apologize for all these years thinking that Vulpes was "just that weird furry faction." It's clear Vulpes is more than just that. Congrats on successfully completing one million, 100 hit chains. Also thank you for completing before my 6 hours of chain watch this morning and for being an all around really fun group!
