Currently, I have TCI, and I am debating whether I should sell my TCI and invest in MUN. Once I have covered the difference in capital, I am considering whether the long-term gains of TCI will be more profitable.

thank you in advance :)

Iirc mun had a better roi than tci

tci is never really worth it but deadringers said it best so I’ll post that here;

A Word on TCI:

Should you get the TCI stock that provides aditional interest rate?

In a word, no.
  • TCI has an ROI of about 10%, therefore it'll take roughly 10 years of holding it and constant bank investments to pay itself off.
  • Sure if you're playing for 11 years, it'll be "worth it" but honestly you'd be better off buying a Max PI with a bit extra and renting that out - more on that later.
  • You CAN min/max it by buying this block 7 days before an investment, and then selling after doing bank investment....but if you have an unlucky sale/buy price you could be out 10s of m which would negate the gains made from it.
  • That also means you either have to have 1.3B spare, or sell something to buy it, and then sell again.
Either way - seems like a lot of effort but up to you.

With full bank and 10 merits TCI gives only 9.76% roi per year compared to MUN's 31.77% roi per year, per this spreadsheet

PI rentals are (slightly) more effort though, that said, there are many stocks with higher ROIs, including several tier 2-3 stocks.

At OP’s NW, neither MUN nor TCI nor renting out PIs is best… find a current stock ROI spreadsheet in T&G.

Edit: Never mind, if that sheet linked above is current than MUN probably is your best next bet (assuming you have the more profitable ones).

Ah sorry for the confusion the renting pi things applies if you already have every other bb over 20% roi as that’s when pi’s become better. It was just saying meant to show that tci isn’t ever really worth it.

in terms of getting mun though there are still quite a few bbs better than it if op doesn’t have them.

sym 1-2 fhg pts are some to name a few but you are right best bet is to get an roi sheet to see what the next thing you should but is.

If op is looking for suggestions I use this one personally:
