when i started, 2b would get you into the top 2000 of battle stats HOF rank. Now 5b doesnt even get you in the top 3000 players.


The ceiling raises everyday and will continue to raise. Eventually only the people who start playing at the youngest of ages, like bogie who started when he was 4 years old, and live to be very old, will be in the top of the leader boards.



I will be leaving my account to my grandson in my will. 60 years from now, it will be HIS destiny to make it to the top, i will only get as close as i can.

I wonder at what point inheritance will be introduced in the game. and how they will decide on a person's age restrictions. lets say after 50 years if someone is still playing how will they see that account?

May be torn will become like meta in the next few years where VR will be introduced.

How would Torn AI be?

I am getting so many questions after reading what you said.

Congrats... please don't feel down... then I would have to feel pathetic with my 1b stats.

Since they removed the 50m soft cap for exponential gains some stats are unobtainable. Got people who can take an SE and gain trillions of stats

In theory it makes it more attainable? The SEs got capped, the soft cap being removed helps people grow faster than we could before

They removed the 50m soft cap but added a cap for SE users to give a chance for the smaller fish to catch up to the whales

I would have to think that a large number of them are inactive though. A lot of people quit or take leaves.

With 10k daily logins I doubt all 3k of those 5b+ players are logging in everyday.

Haha, I remember when I started getting serious about my stats a few years ago. The Top 100 back then, is the Top 1000 today.

I've given up on rank goals as 90% of the people above me bought their way there with RL money. Something that I'm just not willing to do. Even with 15bil now, double what it used to be, I'm not even close to the top 100.

Congrats on your 5bil tho. Onwards and upwards.

Yeah, i agree. You need to consider that while yes in absolute numbers it may look daunting.
But you need to consider that:
a) Torn got a lot more players in recent years.

Double in amount of daily users. So your current top 3k is among 50k players for example instead of old 25k
and b) a lot of those "users per day" are new players that get added at the bottom of stat distribution.

So while yes, it may look daunting when you compare yourself to old 16 years playtime players, remember that there are players(like me for example) and also think "damn i never going to reach this guy".

In torn you always wish you learned about this game earlier.

There should be a Will system. After X amount of inactive days, all your possessions go to ____.

Anyways, grats! I hit 7b and am not even in the top 1500...It's not what it use to be. I think top 500 is around 11/12b.

I wish people would make a top 500 list so that everyone would stop aiming to get in the top 100. All these peeps wanna get on that top 100 list.

in case anyone is interested 4.6b stats is approx top 3.5k stats in HOF. So around 400 players in between 4.6b-5b stats
