Great war.

First time ever that my guys tried turtling at start, and we still need to iron out a few kinks, but proud of everyone for putting in the effort and adjusting to what the system requires. Well done to MM and the whole M family, the merger of 2 HOF factions definitely boosted your strength and will be interesting to see who else both M and MM are prepared to challenge.

No. It is just me as a gamer. When I get to a point were basically there is no challenge anymore, I generally move on to something else. Now, I do fully admit that I do not really regard Torn as a game (as I have posted elsewhere games have rules, are fair, are refereed, etc.) but rather a loosely curated experience. Perhaps that explains why as it is just a social thing. I just find the enthusiasm that I see in Monarch striking. That enthusiasm is either remarkable, or otherwise then (to me).

In online games I have played in and gotten to the top of them, after the competition falls off, I moved on (as do most because it is just not as engaging.) The fact that monarch keeps people so extremely out of competitive range engaged intrigues me.

I somehow doubt you’ve ever got to the point in anything in your life where the reason you’ve moved on is being too good at it.

GG JFK. Dem stats gave us a real rough time on pushes. I knew you guys would be tough and make us work for it. You didn't disappoint. There were some really fun back and forth fights. I'm glad we decided to actually fight this one out instead of doing yet another week of lame deals. Both sides can come away with things they're happy with and areas to improve.

And really proud of my crew at Monarch Mutation. It was beautiful to see the group come together in our very first real war. A ton of people really stepped up, most notably our overseas chain crew and those who tirelessly stalked JFK as they came out of the hospital. The communication and coordination was top notch, especially for a newly formed faction with vastly different time zones, language, and communication mediums. Still, the universal language between us is war, and a lot of guys absolutely nailed it. It was a pleasure to fight along side all of you. Looking forward to more tough wars like this in the future.

The cache rewards were 'low' for you guys because you were the favorite by a longshot. Your median stats are 50% higher than ours. On paper our two factions shouldn't really be in the same league as each other unless BB is online.

Our cache rewards were high because we were on a 3 loss streak, got a nice underdog bonus, and maybe a comeback bonus too (JFK was ahead for like 10 min at one point).

There was really no reason to term from our end since it would have meant giving up some caches and not having a measuring stick against one of the best factions in Torn. I'm much happier that both sides got to test themselves instead of just doing the same old boring terms every single week. Everyone needs the change of pace of a real fight once in a while.

Well that's disappointing. I work hard to get my enemies. I'll just have to go back to work on you after I'm done resting from the war.

I mean we could pretend that stats are the only thing that matters and maybe that mindset is why JFK are a year behind the ranked war meta and took a very hard lesson on TT wars after having WW run rings around their entire alliance several times.

Its good to see improvement though and a positive mindset, you guys will catch up in no time, just in time for ched to change it probably lol

Stats don't mean shit if thats all you have, unlike traditional games.
