    According to his wife, the surgery was successful, the valve was repaired, and now he is recovering!

If you are a member of the Facebook Torn group (and if you aren't, you're missing out!) you're familiar with Theoderik, something of a low-key socialite who has always been quick with a smarmy response as well as a friend request. He has consistently proven the point that sometimes, the best friends we earn in Torn are the enemies we meet along the way.

He has been talking about it with friends for a short while, but only recently revealed to the rest of the Torn world that today he goes in for very risky open heart surgery. He should be okay, but he's made some contingencies in case he isn't - in game and out.

Not a lot any of us can do, except wish him well. And, per his request, pray for him.

Yeah, been interesting watching his preparation for this in the Facebook group. Definitely a case of facing it with a smile.

I've already said this in the Facebook group, but thoughts are with him over the next few days. Hoping he has a speedy recovery and is back to shitposting soon :D

I passed 50 in real life on march the 9th. Life goes by very fast

I am still strong fit and healthy. But i know many people in the world are not. I am thankful i am still in great health.

Big operations are very scary. But it is something which has been developed and 'perfected' over the last 40/50 years.

I think your friend will most likely be fine after his operation hopefully. He does have to have the operation, the doctors dont take this lightly. It isnt a 'minor tweak' having a heart operation. It is a risky procedure. But it has been developed and improved over time.

He will live a lot longer than he would have after he has his successful heart operation!

Don't know him but certainly hoping for the best for him.

Torn has an active Facebook page? Is this official or nah? I thought I was on the official one but hardly ever see anything posted.

I believe it's considered "Unofficial, but (TM)." Leadership over here absolutely knows about it.
