I randomly get the letters "DN" when I'm browsing the forums.
Well, my mother used to do IT support and the one lady kept complaining about random characters appearing on her screen while she was typing.
Turns out she had poor eyesight. And very big ummm... well, they were pressing on the keyboard.
Other than that, could you send an image of what it looks like? Is it on autocorrect, predictive text, pre-post, post-post or during the typing?
Till writing this post, I never encountered such an issue.
Probably means you've been hacked. Just to be safe, change all your passwords, reinstall all your OS-es, clean out your fridge and factory default your router. /s
This is some poor bait. It would never cause someone unfamiliar with the joke (assuming any of them still exist) to ask about DN as you yourself don't seem to have any knowledge on the meaning. They would simply attribute the same strangeness to it that you have in your comment. For a proper DN bait to be cast, you must make it seem like information that you take for granted to be known so someone unaware will feel out of the loop and ask about it.
I would try a different keyboard.
Every character in that random splurge is in the same two-key width "column" of keys on the keyboard, so something is making it act as if all of them are being pressed simultaneously.
