Edit.. looks like I know now. He initiated trade, saw you are a newbie, with low post count - so attempt to trick you hoping you are not so knowledgeable. And he was successful.

I think , at the moment of accepting - there is a 5 seconds delay for you to read the notice ...  But you were in a hurry, as it looks like a deal too good to miss. And the screen shot matches with the narrative the other party is trying to protray - that you need to accept the trade before he can proceed to add money.

But why the add, remove ,.then add pepper spray, remove pepper before finally adding back the cannon? Is this before or after the other party posted the screen shot about the trade being locked ?

This is a very persuasive screenshot and looks every bit legit considering the narrative , that the seller needs to accept in oder for buyer to add money .

Anyway, this trade started wrongly. 

A strong advise to those new to trading. Whoever is receiving the money should always initiate the trade.

From my past experience of faction alliances and inter faction gentleman agreement.  buy mug is okay, bazaar mug is okay ...

But trade cancel mug is forbidden ... And can get the player expelled from faction.

Trade complete mug..is generally avoided if you follow the advise above. The party receiving cash should initiate the trade because that party decides when the trade completes.

Maybe make the text Bold and in a striking colour ..

Staff should pop up in your DMs and say " don't click anything. This person is trying to scam you. Stop. Click Cancel" 

Well now you have a nemesis to aim for :)

You almost prevented yourself from being fooled, but somewhere you doubted yourself. Never doubt yourself. If someone is acting the teeniest bit of sus or not making sense - cancel, block, move right along. People will steal the shirt off your back if you allow it.

Seems a stupid thing to do for 1b....i.e ruin your whole reputation as a RW trader

If its a genuine miscommunication then it's easily fixed I. E he just sends the money and posts a screenshot here 

If however it's an intentional scam then it's stupid. The RW trader market is so saturated at the best of times so adding "SCAMMER" into the mix probably isn't the best way to drum up future business

ofc its Dsla [2807954] lmao mugged him ages ago and he blocked me disliked one post and he disliked 2 of mine lol anyway always start the trade so you can accept and make sure you 3x check/reload the page ect and check everything is right rip this happened but you wont get your money back from a scammer. rip.

They are currently in RW. I say wait until after the RW, this will help them loose.
