I've been playing torn for 1500plus days.

 

 

I'm bored. Like REALLY bored by it. I've found a chilled faction to avoid wanked wars. That helped.

 

I log in every day to train e but I'm not bothered by multi Xanax each day. I rarely fly and therefore make no money.

 

Which means my net worth is withering up to nothing.

 

 

I just can't be arsed with the game anymore. This Halloween event bored me, I had loads of stuff lined up to maximum it ,after burning through 1800 e in seal clubbing attacks I found myself thinking 

 

Why am I bothering?

 

 

It's time to liquidise my assets (such as they are) and go inactive to resurface every three months to get the 300m from bank. How crushingly dull.

 

Oh well.

 

 

TLDR? More like too jaded to bother

It's disappointment.

 

Torn is fun for about 30 minutes per day, but beyond that, it offers zero interesting content, IMO.

 

You come in each day, ready to play, only to remember there's no "play". It's a different genre of game, the one you play for very little time, as opposed to "usual" videogames. You get disappointed.

 

I experienced that firsthand. The solution? Not playing, besides the very few events that are actually interesting and fun and offer more content.

 

These special refills for inactivity do come in handy on halloween.

you could invest in the stock blocks and have your networth grow with passive earning.
Invest in Matzstonks, if $$$ growth is stagnant... there are ways to work around that.

That being said, if Halloween didn't renew your interest, and real life is calling you to permanently quit, best of luck!

you have to have a lot of money to make stock blocks have any meaningful passive growth and you have to remain active at the same time, otherwise your payouts void.

Nah, I'm working 14hour shifts in a job where my phone has to stay in a locker. And in an area with woeful internet too so a page takes ages to load.

 

It's simple not worth the effort ATM. 

 

Last week I worked 38.5 hours out of 72 with two hours driving each day.

 

buying a house is far more satisfying than playing torn.

 

 

I will be selling my island and my weapon after I finish the training book I'm on ATM , then it's either the stocks or bank investment

I don't understand posts like this, you're bored of the game, so you made the decision to avoid the more active parts of the game? To each their own I suppose, Torn is a very social environment, I just find it a bit odd that you open with being bored and then go on to say how you deliberately do boring things like that, or regularly posting in P&L.

Meh, sometimes the game just doesn't appeal to some people. It's a matter of taste. Not engaging in things you don't personally like is by far the simplest solution to this problem.
