But to answer your question, check here:
The most egregious piece of bullshit with this awful post is the fact you spelled out an emoji...then used the exact same emoji. Like what, you just made that thing fresh in layers?
For some players it's a trophy's to show appreciation or recognition to the most influential players (in good or bad way) that we've had since torn has existed...
But for a majority of players it was a really easy method to convert 50m into 250-750m.

They commemorate players in the community over the years, some for their in-game progress or contributions, some to commemorate who are no longer with us and some of Torn's most infamous players based on their presence in the forums etc.
